Your heart’s pounding.
You can’t think straight.
Your hands are clammy, your mind is noisy, and someone says, “You okay?”

60-Second Grounding Reset
Step 1: Find Earth.
If you can, step outside and place your bare feet on the ground—grass, dirt, sand, stone.
If barefoot isn’t an option, place your hands on something natural. Even a tree. Or imagine your body rooted into the Earth.
Step 2: Say this quietly (or in your mind):
“I am here. I am safe. I am connected.”
Step 3: Breathe with rhythm.
Inhale slowly through the nose for 4 counts
Hold for 4
Exhale slowly through the mouth for 6
Repeat for 3–5 breaths
Let your shoulders drop. Let your jaw soften. Let yourself be held.
